‘Jenny’ is the newest track from Langkamer, a Bristol-based four-piece gearing up for a series of UK live shows this December. It’s a bittersweet cut, written, recorded, mixed and mastered by the band and demonstrating a more tender, emotionally candid side of their sound. It’s filled with the warmth of their off-kilter lyrics and memorable guitar melodies. It’s “a song about vulnerability and self-defence. About the walls that some people put up around themselves to try and stay safe. Some people have this veneer of bravado and distance, but it only serves to make them weaker and more vulnerable.” The country-infused indie band are playing five shows around the UK this December. -Dan Peeke
